The next set of photos was Stefano?s GreenHighlander. I simply refer to his comments:
"I wish to give you a couple of explanations: this is a big fly because is tyed on a 9/0 Harrison & Bartleet E by Reinhold. For this reason, I followed for the body more the suggestion of Francis Francis than of Pryce Tannatt . F.F. stated: " body, gold coloured floss, nearly half up the body for a small fly; if large, a few turns of silk and thin yellow pig?s wool, above this dirty olive green mohair."

( I used seal fur for both parts ). The P.T. pattern, as you know, has both part of the body made with floss. I built the rest of the fly as indicated by Pryce Tannatt, except the underwing in which I wanted to use three tippets and not one because, again, being a big fly, a single tippet made it a little empty, in my opinion. You can judge observing the photos and your comments will be very appreciated, also regarding the general proportions."

The fly below is this weeks contribution, The Butcher. His comments are as follows:
O.K.: this is my week-end?s new one. A very classic: the Butcher, from T.E.Pryce Tannat.I strictly followed the prescription of P.T., except for the underwing in which I doubled the tippets and for the topping, for which P.T. says to use one crest or no crest at all while I used four golden ph. crests. These two things because also this fly is very big. Hook: 9/0 H&B (E) by Reinhold ( not long shank but standard).
