What's New Archives

Wing Length-Barb to Hook Ratio

This page is simply the What's New information from the Home Page in a condensed archive:

October 9 2007 I'm in the middle of some major administrative tool changes so I haven't changed much since my return from Oregon.   The Slideshows on this site are not working properly for some reason and I can't figure out why the size of the letters is so large. It all has something to do with the changes in progress. My computer guru is working on it along with the rest of it.

As you will notice above, the main picture is random and changes everytime you renew the page.  These fly pictures are drawn from a file of all the original Home Page Fly pictures. I will post any pictures of significance below. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger image:

Our Friend Dariusz Ptak has given us 2 more Holiday inspired flies.  Directly above is by Friend Fabrizio Gajardoni.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Hatches Magazine is a brand new publication on Fly Tying. It is better than good. For additional information click on the thumbnail at right to see the page under Educational Resources/Articles.
November 10 2007 Oops! One step forward and two backwards. I was adding and changing some products and somehow wiped out all the header pictures for my materials under winging. I guess I'm still getting used to my new system. There are still a number of glitches throughout and I'm slowly working on them. I'm also getting ready for the International Fly tying Symposium this November 17 and 18. I'll be there with Bill Keough again in the same location. For those of you who don't know yet; Mike Radencich will be joining me at the show this year. He'll be there signing books and selling DVDs in my booth both Saturday and Sunday. He's looking forward to meeting so many of you that he has helped in one way or another through his excellent tying works. I hope to see you all there. I suspect I will have some rather nice materials with me. Here are a few of the items I've been working on:  Rangeley Streamer Saddles  Golden Pheasant Red Spike  UNI Embossed Tinsel  UNI SILVER  FRENCH LACE and Rooster Body Hackle.
November 14 2007 Some of the repairs are done and I believe most of the main things are working except the Slideshows. I will have to take care of that when I return from New Jersey. I'll be away from the site until I return Monday Nov 19.
December 22 2007 Christmas is upon us once again and I'm almost ready for it. The orders have been numerous as well as varied
Linneya and I would like to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day. Our friend Dariusz Ptak from Poland sends his Valentine's day wishes via this beautiful and very interesting Valentine below left (front and back views) and our Friend Kyle Hand sends his Valentine wish via the striking fly below to the right.
