Mike Radencich Salmon Flies

I met Michael Radencich several years ago when I attended the first Salmon Fly Symposium, held in Cleveland, Ohio. Mike's Book Tying the Classic Salmon Fly had just been published. Although it's out of print the book is still available through him. I can't tell you how important it is to anyone wishing to tie Salmon Flies. In fact I consider it to be the Second most important book on the market as it covers not only tying from some of the top instructors but Hook Making, Material Dyeing as well as Framing and Mounting the finished product. No book published to date has come close to matching it, not only for the information it offers but for the clear and concise photography contained there in. If this book is not in your library it is worth any effort you may have to put forth to obtain it. I say the "Second best" as Mike newest book Classic Salmon Fly Materials ranks as #1. That book and his other exceptional products including his flies are also availble.
Mike is not just a talented photographer, he is a true Renaissance man. He has been able to master everything he has developed an interest in. Visit his original web site at NORTHTWENTY to get a glimpse of some of this man's talent. Unfortunately he only touches on his Salmon Fly Tying on this site but I think everyone should view his exceptional work Eventually I will have a number of his flies to show you but right now I will give you a few thumbnails of his many other talents.
