SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL KORI

The people involved with the Kori SSP have stepped up to the plate for us. It's now our turn to show them we appreciate it. If you are to be a recipient of feathers in the current program you will receive, besides the feathers, an informational pamphlet from the Kori SSP and a plea for donations from me.

The plea will ask that you:

A. Send them a cash donation of any amount you wish to make.
Checks made out to the Friends Of the National Zoo (FONZ) with Kori SSP Fund in the memo section can be sent to me to be sure the money gets to the right account. In the past checks that have been sent to the National Zoo were occasionally misplaced or deposited into the Panda Account. Everybody loves Pandas but the Kori Bustards need our assistance too.

B. Purchase a fundraiser T-shirt, Lapel Pin, Coffee Mug or a Desk Top Kori Bustard. These items are available in the Tools Section under Materials For Sale.

C. Tie a fly or two with the feathers you receive and send them to me for mounting in a shadow box display. Better yet help make a display for the cause. See Kori Bustard Fly Gallery (menu on left) for additional information.

You are under no obligation to do anything but I feel it's the least we can do as they have enabled us to get for free something that was extremely expensive when and if we could find it.

You can also express your feelings on this program by writing to KoriSSP@FeathersMc.com Please do not ask them for feathers as they do not send them out this is simply for feedback to them. Thank you.
