A sad tale (for the birds, not us) in that my friend that raises these birds commercially bought a beautiful 5 year old breeder male to insure a quality gene pool for his flock. The first thing it did was kill his prize hen. That was a mistake on his part as he joined her in the freezer right after I agreed to buy his hide.

It is a rare oppertunity to be able to get a pair of mature birds in full mating plumage professionally prepared by a taxidermist.
