Twisted Silk Gut

This is authentic Silk Worm Gut from Spain. I was fortunate enough to obtain a few bundles of tippet material in various sizes. You will receive one piece of twisted Spanish gut approximately 12" long. The length is determined by the length of the original sections but they will run from about a foot long. Available in 3 sizes as pictured above. The specific diameter listed above will vary slightly as this gut was not manufactured on a machine to exact tolerances but stretched and finished by hand. I use a Kelson style Gut Twisting Machine with a couple modern attachments in order to get a true rope twist. The finished product is authentic as you can get.

Unfortunately I have run out of the very thin (.009) gut I was making 3 strand small with. I'm now offering a 2 strand small (comprised of 2 strands of .015") which is slightly larger than the old 3 strand small but in my opinion a better size for 1/0 through 4/0 and at a reduced price of $7.99.  Medium and large remain unchanged.
