Dubbing encompasses a wide range of materials. Salmon Fly tiers are mainly interested in three, Seal Fur, Pigs Wool and Berlin Wool. All three are available to the left.

How you want your body dubbing to look is entirely up to you. Some like the thin, sparse, well picked out look of Berlin Wool in a Dee Fly, while others like the spikey sparkle of seal like our Friend Kyle Hand in the Green Highlander pictured above. Some prefer the more florid look of Pigs Wool. The original flies were dubbed with the material that was available to them at the time.
