The Golden Pheasant is the most important bird to salmon tyers. The vast majority of traditional patterns use GP crests for the tail, topping or both. GP tippets are used as an underwing more than any other feather. The quality of my Tippets and Crests are second to none. Much like the tying skill of my Friend Matt Inman creator of the Supernumerary Rainbow pictured above. I do believe he put about a million crests of 6 different colors in that wing. Thank you Matt. My wife Linneya is the proud owner of that fly but she lets me look at it.
