JEC Silk Floss
JEC or Japanese Embroidery Center Flat Silk Floss is not only the nicest floss to use it is also inexpensive compared to other silk floss. You get 60 meters of single strand pure silk floss that is thin enough for tags right off the tube. Many of my friends now use it and will not use anything else. You waste very little as you don't have to split it, it lays extremely flat and burnishes well if necessary, has beautiful luster and did I mention, you don't have to split it. I've adapted their color numbers to correspond with our names for colors we give them in fly tying.
