Powdered Blue Macaw

This is the tail covert on the Scarlet Macaw. This is the feather to be used when a pattern calls for Powdered Blue Macaw. A number of the Kelson patterns call for this feather in the wing or tail veiling. It was even split down the center of the rachis and wrapped as hackle. As you can see in the picture above they vary in size, shape and color.

In the picture above you'll notice I've numbered the pairs 1 - 31. I'll try and supply you with the pair you would like but you will have to send an email along with or prior to ordering indicating whitch pair or pairs you would like. I'll try and keep the available ones current by placing a red X over the missing ones.
